Austin is a St. Louis native and proud graduate of Francis Howell North High School, where he was a four-year varsity volleyball standout. As a middle hitter, he brought power, consistency, and leadership to the front row, earning a spot on the High Performance travel team, where he competed at a national level for three seasons.
He continued his volleyball career at St. Ambrose University, playing collegiate-level volleyball while majoring in Criminal Justice. Austin's well-rounded playing experience and strong work ethic have shaped him into a competitive coach who values discipline, growth, and team culture.
Now entering his 6th year of coaching, Austin has worked with athletes at Francis Howell North, helping develop both their skills and their confidence on the court. His calm leadership, strong technical foundation, and passion for the sport make him an invaluable part of the Power VBC coaching staff.
We’re proud to have Coach Austin helping lead the charge this season!.
